Most order payments will be processed and authorized immediately or within the next business day depending on the payment method used.
Once an order is submitted, credit cards will be pre-authorized for the total dollar amount of the order. Although the pre-authorized amount will show up immediately, this does not mean that charges have been made.
In addition to the bank’s authorization, Catalyst software systems will run various authorization checks. If the order is not authorized by Catalyst, the order will not be processed, and a follow up will be made by our Support Team to the customer.
If this occurs, the customer will not be charged. It will take on approximately 2-3 business days for the pre-authorized charge to disappear. In certain cases, it takes several days for the charges to go away depending on the credit card issuing back.
